Not everything sent to the basement is junk.
Unlike the mysterious quality of an attic, basements are more practical. Oftentimes, they provide additional living space as well as an accessible area for storage. Having grown up where severe weather was an annual spring phenomenon, the basement was associated with safety and protection. Down in the basement of this site, you will find a repository for articles published in magazines and newsletters over the years. They are stored here in hopes that, in spite of their age, you may still find them useful.
